First of all, ta'da, I got a hair cut. Obviously you could tell. I got it cut about 2 weeks ago, pretty short for me, I think the shortest I've ever had it. I think I really like it. I decided I was tired of my hair being in a pony-tail every day, this way atleast it kinda looks like I have a little style...right? Even though I'm in scrubs, it was a decent hair day...so we took the pics!
Now my sweet baby boy. This is busted lip #2 in 1 week. Poor kid. The first one he was running on the sidewalk after church and he face-planted on to the concrete. He was all right, but scraped up several fingers, and he banged up his bottom and top lip pretty good. It took a week for those to heal. Then I think it was monday night, we were at home, and Jeremy was changing the sheets on his bed...sand everywhere (this will lead into the next picture). Anyway, I hear screaming, and somehow I think him and Hannah were both in the rocking chair, and who knows what happened but he like punctured his bottom lip this time (same spot). Wasn't really like a scrape, it was BLEEDING. I know facial wounds bleed a lot anyway, but this wouldn't stop, just a continuous drip. So of course, they had been bathed, it was a good night, totally on track for getting everyone in bed on time...and well this happened. So finally after dabbing with paper towels and no luck, Jeremy said lets try to put a gauze dressing on his lip. Good idea, but try holding down an 18mos old to tape strategically to his face. Well...we did it. After awhile he decided it was pretty cool and he liked it. After about 15min he'd had enough and pulled the dressing off, but the bleeding had stopped! I think he's gonna be my child with many bumps and bruises and broken bones. We'll have to watch him close!
The sandbox! They love their sandbox. Memaw and Paw-Paw got them this for Christmas. We play almost everyday, but beware sand is everywhere. We take off our shoes outside, and shake and shake, but somehow sand still ends up inside. The day Caleb busted his lip, that was the day, I saw Hannah dumping sand on top of Caleb's head. Goodness...sand everywhere. We're really trying to enforce the "keep the sand in the sandbox" rule, and "don't poor sand on your brother". Sometimes we're successful. Anwyay, I decided I'd let them have a great time, and just continue to sweep my floor on an even more regular basis!

Super cute hair! It looks really good short.
Sorry to hear about the spaghetti! I am not good with the throw-up, good think Mark has a stronger stomach than me when it comes to that.
Love the hair Kelly, very cute! Welcome to the life of a mom with a boy! We have sooo many of those bumps and bruises, in the summer they look like they are abused b/c of the amount of bruises on thier legs! Dalton has had stiches twice already, once at 7 months and once at 4. Oh the fun of boys :)
Your hair looks cute : ) Right now, luke has a huge bruise on his cheeck from falling out of the bath and a bit of a black eye from missing a baseball while playing with his Dad and Brother: )
By the way, hope you are feeling well. I am so sad we can't come your way this trip.
