Hello blog readers. Well yes I'm still around even though I haven't posted in I think 10-11 days...which really isn't that long, considering some blogging buddies only post once a month. However it is much more exciting to read from those who post regularly. Now don't you once a month bloggers take anything personally, atleast you blog : ) And I'm glad to read about your life.
For one, I haven't loaded any more pics onto the computer because our hard-drive is really full. We need to back up all our pics already on here to our other hard-drive to make sure they are safe. Once we do that we can make a little more room for current pics. So I don't have any pictures to post either (boring I know)
Onto other business. I received an award! A blogging award, I received one back from my friend in highschool Kylie, and one recently from another highschool friend Meg. Ok, I think now what I'm supposed to do is post a picture of it and answer some questions. I'm TERRIBLE at that. This also goes for being "tagged". I think my cousin Jenny tagged me once and well I still haven't done that yet either. I love yall really I do and am even honored that you read my blog, but well I just haven't responded to those things yet. Maybe one day I will, but maybe not.
Other than not blogging, we are doing well. Trying to keep everyone healthy around here. A couple weeks ago, Jeremy and I had bad colds, now Hannah and Caleb have colds, and Caleb's turned into an ear infection. Poor kid, he was kinda miserable for a few days, coughing (so not sleeping for him or me), and just really fussy. He's on antibiotics. Doing great now. I'm just hoping Hannah doesn't get an ear infection. She's hard to read, her last one (in october..when she could hear me, see post) she had not pain, no fever, just I noticed she couldn't hear me when I was talking to her. Hopefully she'll be fine and we won't get to that point. Now, I think I'm getting another cold which I HATE colds...and now being pregnant (early pregnant 5wks) I can't take anything I don't think. I'm not miserable but I'm always weird about medicine and pregnancy. So pray that I'll be fine. Wow, this paragraph kinda turned into a "whining" section. I guess thats ok sometimes. Well this is really all for now. So until later posts, thanks for still reading.

My sweet babies.
Oh, I'm already getting kinda sentimental about Hannah being a "double" big sister, and Caleb not being my little baby anymore. Atleast I hoping to have lots of time to cherish all the moments until this baby arrives. Ok, I know I am ONLY 3w5d pregnant, so I have LOTS of time, but still, the time will pass quickly especially since I'm busy with my other little ones.
Ok so I've only known for 4 full days now that we're expecting another baby, but it is kind of consuming my thoughts. I mean I think about it all the time. Did I eat enough good stuff today? Am I supposed to drink more milk? Guess I need to eat some vegetables. I know this is my 3rd pregnancy, but I forget stuff. So I kinda want to pretend like I don't know anything and let the doctor treat me like I'm a first time mom : )
Anyway, even these past few days there have been some overwhelming moments. Like...oh my gosh, 3 kids. Can we do this? Like today ( now wednesdays are harder because i work on wednesdays at the hospital, the kids stay with a lady from church, so naps aren't very routine there) I was trying to get supper ready, Hannah was tired and just wanted me to hold her and read her a book (so we did that), Caleb wanted me to hold him while he just held his blanket, so I held him too while I was reading Hannah her book. I thought, atleast my stomach is still really small and we can all still fit : ) When I put them down, everyone started whining and crying. So, dinner was leftovers, Caleb even had ketchup on his plate tonight to make him eat his food...he smeared ketchup ALL over his hair, I mean I gave him a bath, and SCRUBBED his hair, and it still smells like ketchup. So, all this to say, it's gonna be ok, and we can do this. God totally sustains and gives us strength to endure what He has given us.
So all that to say, I love being a mom, I love this picture of my kids, they had so much fun just sitting in the big green bucket. The joys of motherhood far out-way the kind of stressful times.

Another one on the way!!!!!!!
Yep, you read correctly. We are going to have another baby!! I took the test Sunday morning at about 7:45am. I just thought maybe I'm pregnant, but really it's probably too soon, only day 24 of my cycle, and usually they are about 30 days. However it was the last test of the box, and I just wanted to know. So of course Hannah is on the couch watching her movie, Jeremy is in bed, Caleb is sleeping. I do the test, and well the first line shows up quickly all the time, so I didn't think much of it, then I looked again, and saw the "other" line start to appear, I thought "oh my gosh, it's probably just fading in and out", I kept watching, and my heart started beating like 130 beats/min. Seriously it is the EXACT same reaction every time...both with Hannah and Caleb. I am just like, I can't believe this!!!! So I run into the bedroom to show Jeremy and Hannah is in there. Not too sure what to do about her really , so I turn on all the lights, put the test on Jeremy's night stand and say "look at this". I take Hannah back to the living room to watch her movie. I go back into the bedroom and close the door. I said, "does that look positive to you", he smiled and said "yeah" still kinda of asleep. Poor guy, with Hannah I found out at 6am, Caleb was midnight, and this one early too.
So we're excited, can't really believe it. I haven't had a hard time getting pregnant..it has always been in the 2nd month and I am SO thankful for that. Pregnancy is a true miracle from God. To create life like that is amazing to me every time. Even now as I think that this little baby is a group of cells right now rapidly multiplying and attaching and growing exactly like it's supposed to is AMAZING to me!! I am VERY early pregnant, like only 3.5 weeks....so still early early. I found out early with Hannah also.
I called my OB doc in Victoria to find out what to do. He requests that I get a "lab" confirmation before I come in for another visit. So I went to the hospital and did another urine test and it was still POSITIVE (i was actually kinda nervous waiting for the results, don't really know why, but was relieved that is was still positive) I have my first ultrasound scheduled for Jan 2...seems so far away, and I absolutely can't wait for that day. I always am so curious, do you see a heartbeat, and how MANY babies are there. Twins are in the family, when I didn't have children I SO wanted twins, my cousin and I were praying for twins. Now that we have kiddos... one at a time is just great : )
We told Hannah, and well basically everybody on Sunday. It was a busy church day, and I knew I couldn't keep this in. So we called our parents early that morning, then told the youth, and my sunday school class. So fun. I told Hannah "Mommy is going to have another baby, there is a tiny baby in my tummy right now". She said "We're gonna have it today". I said no it has to grow really big before it can be born. She now asks everyday if the baby is still in my tummy...several times a day. This will be a long pregnancy for her...sweet girl. She definitely wants it to be a girl and tells me that multiple times. I just say well God gets to decide what it's gonna be.
I'll have a repeat c-section this go round. I have debated back and forth, and feel that this is the best plan for us. We are also gonna wait and not find out the sex of the baby. We did this with Hannah, and it was so fun. We found out with Caleb, which was just as neat for me too, but since we have one of each we're gonna wait, and be surprised.
So pray for a healthy baby and pregnancy. With my complications I had with Caleb, we just really want the placenta to be attached up high in my uterus. So pray for that!! Praising God for this little blessing already!

Sleep like a baby??
Yep she was sound asleep. At first I was like "Oh, thats gotta be SO uncomfortable", then I thought it was kinda funny. Both taken over the thanksgiving holidays. So of course, I had time to take a pic, and then put my sweet girl back in bed, and then figure out a way to prop her up in her carseat. Any suggestions ??

NO Screaming...
Ok, there is always the questions of how to discipline your children, when to start, what methods to use, spanking, swatting, timeout, etc..I mean it's totally overwhelming and you wonder are there gonna be scars emotionally for my children when all this is done. Well...lately Caleb has been doing this screaming thing. I mean all the time. Especially when he wants something. He TOTALLY knows how to sign "please", "more", and "eat". He also says please, more, eat, milk, blanket, mama, daddy, hannah, ball, night-night, cracker, cookie. I mean he talks a lot, he can point, and can go get things if you tell him "go get your ball". So why does he have to scream to get your attention or when he wants you to give him more food, or whatever.
The latest has been in his highchair, he absolutely throws a fit. So I'm like ok, enough of this screaming...it's really loud, and it is NOT crying. He's just mad. So I've been saying very sternly in his face "Caleb no screaming", then I'll ask "what do you want". He screams again...I repeat NO screaming, THEN, get this....he throws his hands and either pushes me away, or hits me in the face. He kinda has a stare and pouty look on his face...like he kinda knows he shouldn't have done that. Mmm, mmm...
What??? This is NOT acceptable. I've given my life for you, all hours of the day, love, sacrifice, nuturing, really almost anything he wants....and he wants to hit me in the face. Oh...I just don't remember Hannah doing this. I'm sure she did at some point, but I just don't remember very well. So my sweet little boy, maybe he's strong willed....I don't know yet. He has been a very good baby, and I'm sure this is a stage we're going through....hopefully it won't last for years.

Zoo Trip, and Extras...
Last Friday we went to the San Antonio zoo, it was fun to get away and do something a little different as a family. Jeremy is usually off on Fridays, so we try to do something fun together those days. I love this pic (i wish Caleb was looking), we were feeding the birds, Hannah wasn't really sure, birds were flying everywhere, and Caleb just made barking noises at all the animals. It initially started as a barking sound at dogs...but now every animal seems to be a dog. Oh well...he's learning.
Hannah and I walking across the lillypads trying not to get into the water, and then her and Jeremy posing with some sort of animal..really not sure what it was, but this was in the "kids section" of zoo. Specially designed for ages 2-5yrs old.
This was fun...we went to the petting zoo, where the kids could pet, feed, and brush the goats. Hannah warmed up to it after awhile, Caleb was chasing them...in this pic, this goat was sleeping, so I thought this would be great to get Caleb acquainted with the animals. After a few minutes, I guess it didn't want us touching it anymore, he kinda jabbed my arm with his horn/antler (not really sure what you call it).
Everyone petting the same nice goat that really wanted us to leave it alone.
Back to the birds...they just went nuts when you walked in carrying the little cup of nectar that they got to eat. One bird actually landed on my hand, pried the lid off himself and ate the whole thing..no sharing for the others. Notice the bird that is on top of my head in this pic. I just didn't want it to poop in my hair. There were some lucky people there that got that special little treat.
After a full day at the zoo, we rode the train at the end, I think that was Hannah's favorite part!
My sweet girl...she was SO tired. She walked around the zoo the WHOLE time, my double stroller is broken, a wheel fell off when we were at Seaworld, we really want a double jogging stroller : ) Anyway, Caleb got to ride in his stroller, and we offered to carry Hannah, or whatever but she insisted of walking herself. So as soon as we got in the car, she took her shoes and socks off, and fell asleep. She doesn't ever want to miss a thing. I love her pose, she's leaned over, looking out the front window so she can see everything, and well just couldn't keep her eyes open. Caleb was passed out at this point too, no pic of him, he's still backwards in his carseat (I know he's 16mos now, 24lbs, but I just think it's safer facing backwards).
Ok thats all for the zoo, but this was funny. I was in the kitchen the other day doing dishes, Hannah and Caleb were playing in the toy room. I kinda hear some screaming, not really serious screaming, but then Hannah comes running to the kitchen saying, "Mommy come look, hurry, look at Caleb"...I'm thinking OH MY GOSH, what happened, is he bleeding, is he stuck somewhere, what did he eat... so I go in the toy room, and she said he fell into the toybox. At this point he was happy and playing. So I took and picture, and then looked him over to make sure he was fine. He actually wanted to stay IN the toybox.
My sweet family, this was at lunch one day, they are always so happy to see daddy at lunchtime. Yes Jeremy has a black eye too...Caleb hit him in the face with a book. You gotta watch him, he likes to throw things.

Day to Day Life...
So cute, playing outside in the front yard on our slide.
At our fall festival at church, wagon ride.
Hannah loved the bean bag toss, I was in charge of that booth, and well she stayed there basically the whole time and didn't want anyone else to have a turn. I mean tears and all when another kid came..thats what no nap during the day will do to you. And she is sporting her SSBC shirt from Monahans...this is one of her favorite shirts ever!
I know, isn't it great. I am so into braiding these days. This is now Hannah's favorite way to wear her hair, I didn't even get a face shot, but I'll post one soon. It stays out of her face better now, and Caleb can't pull her hair as much. Seriously, he LOVES to pull her hair, she's so good about it. Poor kid.
Just lovin' on each other, they really love each other so much...of course a moms wish is that it will stay like this forever. I just realized this pic came after my posting of how he pulls her hair all the time...well in love of course I'm assuming.
Pooped out Kiddos! After work on Wednesday I picked up the kids from "grammies" house. Hannah hadn't slept all day (like usual over there), Caleb slept only about 30min. So these pics were taken at 6pm!! They were out cold. I had to wake them up so we could get to church at 6:30. Maybe I should have skipped out huh.... anyway after they woke up, they were ready to go for a few more hours. This is a classic "sleep" picture of Caleb, he always sleeps on top of his blanket which is almost always curled up into a ball...whatever works, oh and of course the fingers.
Doing laundry, the kids just decided to crawl into the basket and watch me...isn't that nice of them to sit and watch while I wash everyones clothes.
Me and Caleb at the game...I love this picture, he is so sweet and looking more and more like a little toddler. He has 2 more teeth coming in right now, the 2 on the top....so then he'll have 4 up there. Still just the 2 on the bottom.
Mom came to visit for a few days last weekend...so fun, I was so glad to have her here. We went to the last Kenedy football game of the season, it was COLD...but we had a good time. The kids have loved going to the games all year. And yes...Hannah does have a black eye, this was actually post accident about 4 days. Poor sweet girl, we were at a friends house and Hannah was swinging the swing, and it came back and hit her in the face. It was bad, turned purple immediately. Much much better now though.

Update on Burned Fingers
Well, hello everyone, just wanted to send a little update that my hand/fingers are completely healed. No damage, no scarring, no nerve damage...NOTHING. It's amazing how the human body knows how to work and grow new skin..I know kinda gross, but pretty cool. So thanks for asking, I'm great..never want to do that again though.

Random Pictures
Ok, so I was trying to see if I could post more than 5 pics at a time...THANKS Melanie for the "how to" on that, very easy. Now I need to figure out how to type the caption more easily when posting. I have to keep looking at the preview so I know which picture is next....any trick to that?

We had a girls night out, so fun, we went to Chilis and just ate and talked for like 3 hours. Very needed! These are some dear friends, we all go to church together. Laura, Erin, me (my big face, i lucked out and had to take the pic), brittany, and becky.

Grandpa pushing Hannah and Brock in the wheelbarrow outside....anything to make kids happy. It was nap time, Brock was tired, Hannah had already pulled out all her hairbows, and it was hot outside....don't they all look so happy. I love this pic!!

Driving a fire truck at the Mayborn.

Reading a book...love this!!

Hannah and Caleb dancing at Matt and Meghan's wedding!

Big boy watching a football game.

Hannah sitting with the scarecrow...so cute!

Ok, I love this expression. First of all the whole picture is funny to me. He figured out that he can get on and off this horse by himself, and ride and not fall off. But he's extremely talented because he has to have his blanket with him AT ALL TIMES. He refers to his blanket as his "ba-boo". Don't dare take it away, or else.

Still riding the horse but he discovered that the horses hair feels kinda like mommys hair, and he gets kind sleepy, so here you go, holding his blanket, sucking his fingers, thinking....maybe it's time to go to sleep. He still likes to hold my hair when I rock and put him to sleep. Sweet sweet boy!

Pumpkins
A little late on posting all of these, but we went to the pumpkin patch in Karnes City about 2 weeks ago. They were so cute, Caleb was going nuts because he thought all the pumpkins were "balls". He LOVES any kind of ball, and wants to have one near by all the time. Enjoy. I have many more but I still don't know how to post more than 5 pics at a time....if anyone knows, let me know.

Youth Group
Just wanted to post a few pics of our youth group. We had a bible study / fellowship at our house Sunday night, and they had a great time. We've been here for almost 6mos now, and things really are pretty good. They are a good group of kids, we're still building relationships with them, but for the most part I think they like us : ) We usually have an average of about 20 youth regularly. We did our first 5th quarter at church last night, there were 99 youth who showed up....so now we just need to figure out how to get them all to come back. Teenagers are just fun, so much life and energy....I think hanging out with them will keep you young for a LONG time!

ER Visit....for the mom!
Ok, so the pictures kinda tell the story. Sunday night I was putting Caleb to bed. He has a lamp on his little table, I reached to turn it off, and when I did sparks flew, maybe even a flame...the lights in the house flickered, they dimmed and there was this loud noise. So I'm screaming, Caleb is screaming, Jeremy comes running down the hallway into the room and I just pass Caleb off to him and run into the bathroom and put water on my right hand (yes I'm right handed). Hannah is just kinda like what's going on?? Jeremy brought me some ice in a ziplock bag. The inside palm of my hand was black from suit I guess, and it smelled bad. I'm not crying, I'm just like what happened, what do I do...I'm thinking I'm a nurse and I don't know what to do. I gotta go to the ER. So Jeremy stays and gets the kids to bed.
So I go to our Kenedy hospital. I get there at about 8:45pm, they actually called me back pretty quickly (there was a room of about 10 people or so)..I'm thinking they need to call me back RIGHT NOW. My hand HURTS! I also just started working at the hospital in surgery, so I'm thinking, maybe I'll get some special treatment here. The doctor was so nice....he said "Oh..thats bad, somebody bring me some yellow mustard". The nurse says "Like from the refrigerator", doc says "Yeah from the fridge". So they go to the OR and get the mustard out of our very own fridge. I'm thinking is this sterile, is it clean enough...but whatever. He then squirts mustard into a sterile glove atleast , then I squish my hand into the glove. I put my hand in a bucket of ice water for 1hr. He said that mustard is the best thing to put on burns because it is a good pain reliever, and it can reduce a burn by a degree if treated soon enough.
So after an hour he reassessed, and said that I had some 2nd degree spots with some 1st degree burns as well. He put silvadene cream, and gauze over my fingers. The pain wasn't so bad when it was in the glove and ice, but oh..when the mustard and ice wore off....it was just a CONSTANT burning/stinging. I only took 1 pain pill that night, to help me sleep, and the next day it was MUCH better. I went to work with my hand all bandaged....I thought...I'm sure a lot of help but I still got to assist and do some things.
So all this to say, I think I'm gonna be fine. It was just really scary, I'm glad it wasn't my kids. I took the lamp back to Wal-Mart where I got it...I said...it's obviously missing a piece that covers all the metal parts and the base of the light bulb (thats what caused this whole mess). I said they need to check all their lamps to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else. I got a new lamp just the same for free, all the pieces are intact...but I'm gonna let Jeremy set it up to make sure : )
So today is Wednesday...I've taken the dressing off the middle finger and it's just has a bunch of blisters...no broken skin right now. My ring finger was the more serious one...still have a dressing to make sure it stays really clean. I'm also taking my prenatal vitamins and extra vitamin C...to promote healing. So hopefully things will be fine.

Having Fun
Ok, now take a good look at this sweet little boy...he has had a very busy week learning so many new things. He is officially walking!! This really kinda happened suddenly over the past few days. He's been taking a few steps here and there for the past 2-3 weeks, but today and yesterday he has really been walking a lot. AND, I can say, "Caleb stand up and walk to me". He'll go from a sitting position on the floor, stand up and he walks to me! Such a smart kid! So today he seriously took probably 20 steps in a row. YEAH. I'm so excited about all this. Our pediatrician said that he wanted him walking by 15mos...so we have hit the mark by 3 days I might add. We go the end of this month for a check up. So he is right on track with all the normal developmental milestones at this point. This picture was taken at our football game last night. He looked like such a big boy sitting next to me on the bleachers with his cup. He loves football games, he yells "Go Go Go" and claps a lot. It's pretty fun.
Meet the Kenedy Lion. Hannah has been admiring this Kenedy lion mascot all season. Usually we just kinda look and wave from a distance. Well tonight we waved for awhile, she's so curious about who and what it really is. We tell her really it's just a boy at school all dressed up...she kept insisting that he "take his head off"....so FINALLY we got to get our picture with the infamous lion. She absolutely wasn't gonna do this by herself, so as the supportive mom that I am, I got to get my picture taken with the lion too. So now, she wants to get her picture taken with the lion at every game.

Life
Hannah is SO much better. She's only been on medicine for 5 days now, but she can already hear much better (maybe back to normal). No allergy symptoms really at all. I'm so grateful. I'm assuming the ear infection is gone....she never really had many symptoms from that. I'm so glad she's well.
On other news...for those of you that don't know...I started working at the hospital here in Kenedy just 1 day a week. I work back in surgery area, so I am being oriented to what they do back there. I've never worked in surgery, but it is kind of cool. Our hospital here really only does very minor surgeries...removing gallbladders, fixing hernias, and a LOT of GI scopes. I only work on wednesdays from 7am-usually 4pm. The kids stay with this lady that goes to our church "grammie". She keeps children in her house....and so far the kids love it. I'm so glad, Hannah gets to play with other kids and run around outside a lot. They don't watch TV there, so she has to play. Caleb just does well wherever he goes. He is such a happy baby.
Last night I started feeling bad, had a low grade temp, chills, sore throat and just felt yuck! So I called in to work for today and told them I couldn't make it (looks real good for only my second day). Anyway I still took the kids to grammies house, and I laid on the couch ALL day long. It was wonderful, I napped, took medicine, and I feel better already. I'm so thankful I had this day to kind of recover.
Ok, just wanted to update yall on whats going on around here. And...if you read this blog, leave me a comment so I know who you are...even if it's just to say HI. I promise I won't think you're a "blog stalker" or anything like that : )

To Hannah..
My sweet Hannah...
You are such a big girl now. Daddy and I love you so much and we are so glad God gave you to us. We have prayed every day for you for over 3yrs now, since we found out we were pregnant with you. We are so proud of how you're growing and all the things you're learning. You bring so much joy to our lives, even though there are some trying times, we wouldn't have it any other way. I pray every day that you would choose and accept Jesus into your life, God is so good and I pray that we teach you the things of God so that you one day will choose to follow Him and have a life of blessing, peace and joy. Here are a few pictures of how you've grown and changed the past 3 years. Love you so much and can't wait to share all of our days with you.
Love you,
Mommy, Daddy

I was 37 weeks pregnant, 2 weeks before Hannah was born, I had gained 55lbs...very pregnant here.

Born October 3, 2005. 8lbs 5oz, 20.5in. I remember all my labor and delivery like it was yesterday. I was so glad when you were finally born. I was in labor for 41hrs!

Your first birthday. You were actually sick and had ear infections, and fever...but we had all the family over to the house and celebrated anyway! You were so cute, you totally did not want anything to do with your cake, you touched the icing very delicately, and then started shaking your finger to get it off. You have been really "neat" ever since then.

Your 2nd birthday, I made your birthday cake, and once again had family to celebrate!

Your 3rd birthday! Well once again you were sick with a double ear infection. We went to the doctor to have your ears checked. You have SEVERE allergeries, and your left eye was swollen shut for a couple of days. The doctor gave us several different medicines to get this all under control. All this didn't seem to bother you too much, you smiled and were happy and played with your toys most of the day. You are such a joy!!
