...baby BOY! Thats right, yesterday we had our ultrasound and doctor visit. Things looked great!! We have debated this whole pregnancy whether or not to find out the sex of this little one, and well yesterday was the day. I knew immediately, as soon as she put the probe on my belly, we had a hiney/leg/parts shot. I said "Oh my goodness it's a BOY" She said yep you're right. So we found out right away. He looked great, weighing in at approximately 15oz so almost 1lb. He looked healthy and was just chillin' with his legs crossed and hands above his head. So cute. Still on track, my due date is August 21.
Also just as exciting we found out that my placenta looks great and is in a great spot. On the posterior back wall and up really high. YEAH...no placenta problems with this baby. For those that don't know. I had a lot of problems with Caleb and was in the hospital for about 5wks due to this. So we were thrilled. This pregnancy should go smoothly.
We told our family and the kids. Hannah was excited, I whispered it to her, and her eyes got really big and she had a big smile on her face. Caleb just kept prancing around the room banging his drum. So there you go. Caleb will have a "running buddy" to play with and Hannah for now remains the princess of our household!
I'll keep you posted, and will very soon post a belly shot. So far I've gained 14lbs...not too bad for the halfway mark.

Yeah!! I know Caleb and Hannah are so excited. Daniel was peeking in my belly button the other night asking where Isaac was! He was so disappointed he couldn't see him! I'm so glad the pregnancy is going well for you this time. Miss you!
So happy for you Kelly!! I am sure Caleb is going to love having a little brother, someone he can later on chase down frogs and lizards with as mine do. And Yay!! for a great lying placenta! I hope things continue to go as well as they have so far.
that all sounds like great news! yay! and yay for baby boys, too!! honestly EVERYone i know right now that is preggo is having boys!! i can't wait to start meeting everyone ;).
