Lessons learned from a 3yr old.

Wednesday night I picked the kids up from church and the nursery worker said, Caleb had a really bad diaper....I was like thats strange, he had a totally normal poopy diaper at about 4pm. Anyway so I'm thinking please don't be getting sick, I already had a cold and Jeremy was gonna be gone Thurs-Sat on a mission trip, so I needed to be well, and I really wanted my kids to be well for these several days.

So we get home, I'm getting their bath ready, strip them down, take his diaper off...and quickly kind of put it back on. He'd gone again. So to his changing table....his bottom is SO red with welps and it just looks like it hurts. OUCH. So I clean him up and put him in the bath. I'm bathing the kids and I say to Hannah "We really need to pray for Caleb to be well, and for his bottom to get better"...she says yeah ok. They continue to play. Several minutes later, Hannah just starts praying:

"Dear God thank you for Caleb's tummy, and thank you for his bottom and help it to get better, and thank you for daddy".

Just precious. She just decided that we really needed to pray right then. The "thank you's" really mean "pray for". Something I've known, but the reminder to pray immediately when you need to pray. So thank you my dear Hannah for reminding me once again to pray at once for things and to not wait.

The next day, his bottom was much better, no more diarrhea, and my cold was much better! YEAH!! We're surviving without daddy here. I know it's only for like 2 days, but still I miss him. I am grateful that he is home so much, I have friends whose husband work away and are gone weeks at a time, and family whose husbands are deployed overseas. So no complaining, I just love my husband and am ready for him to come home.

**Pictures to come soon, I've just been lazy. Our internet connection seems to be getting slower, so I haven't loaded the pics from the camera to the computer...will happen soon I hope, so thanks for still reading.**
